I am a dedicated educator, having earned my degree as a teacher in modern dance and improvisation/composition from the Rotterdam Dance Academy/ Codarts. Armed with both a Fullbright scholarship and a VSB scholarship, I went to further my studies at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance in New York, where I immersed myself in the Graham technique.

Upon my return to the Netherlands, I wholeheartedly delved into the realm of education, offering my expertise at various schools and institutions. Over the years, I worked as a contemporary dance teacher at institutions such as Artez University of the Arts, Royal Conservatoire The Hague and New Dance Center. Presently, I work at Nederlands Dans Theater, where I play a multifacetted role in the Talent Development and Education department, as a teacher, moderator and content creator of various projects.

My journey moved beyond the boundaries of dance, reflecting my search to a more holistic approach. Intrigued by the interconnectedness of the body and the possibilities it offers, I integrated Pilates into my repertoire.

 

Recently, I have expanded my expertise further by becoming certified in foot reflexology. This expansion of my interests is in line with my dedication to develop a comprehensive understanding of the human body's capabilities and enhancing my clients' and students' overall well-being.

Through my evolving skill set, I don't only aim to inspire others to explore the artistic dimensions of movement but also to encourage them to prioritize their overall health and balance.
